Promises made at the 2008 University
Promises made at the 2008 University.
On June 20th, the European University for the reception of new inhabitants closed its doors after three days of rich debats and exchanges.
The event's outcome is extremely encouraging: 1 000 people attended the three day event at the Grande Halle d'Auvergne ,which is 400 more than the first edition.
Compared with 2006,there has been a clear rise in attendees coming from other areas than the Auvergne ; 7% were foreigners from nine different countries, and 41% were French from 56 different departments. The Massif Central area was well represented with a partricpation level of 16%, as well as the Auvergne which counted for 36% of the attendance figures.
In addition to an excellent participation, this year's theme, "which communication strategy for which welcome", proved to be an increasingly unavoidable subject in the initiation of new policies for the development of territories. It was also a subject that attracted a large audience of French and European professionals.
If you attended the University and you would like to give us your views, you can download the attached assessment questionnaire, and return it to us by mail (ardta@ardt-auvergne.fr). In the meantime, before the next edition in 2010, you can find all the University's archives (conferences and workshops) and the videos on this site as from September .
